Wow, what a feat! Note the counter bend through the turn to keep that outside hind leg well engaged (Although less bend in the neck is ideal). And this video shows a great example of riding forward to the base with a powerful canter/gallop. Watch the slow motion after the initial jump to see how much he rides forward in the last stride in the deep spot. Enjoy!
