Video # 62, and Question # 191: I asked a Dressage Judge to score my horse's trot. She gave him a 6.5-7 at best. When I asked what we should try differently (this is a trainer/judge who knows both me and my horse) to get an 8, she said...
...that this horse isn't an 8, and that we'd only get 8's on straight lines, never circles... because he's not just that great a mover. I guess I refuse to accept that! So, please tell me what you think. I know there are some moments of tension but for a BN/Novice level horse, what should I work to improve upon?
