Question # 243: I can get my lazy boy to the point that he is in front of my leg, but he won't stay there!
Often I don't even notice that he has fallen a little behind my leg, until I realize that I am working quite hard myself. So I know that means I am letting him get lazy. What can I do to break this cycle, and keep him forward through my entire ride? (Sue)

Good for you for realizing that you are letting this happen! That is more than half the problem! Most of the time riders are not aware of the horse quietly sneaking behind their leg, until they ask for more energy, or a movement like a lengthening, and find...
